The final presentation of the project "Enhancing the Organizational Capacity of IAM Clusters"

The key phase of the project "Enhancing the Organizational Capacity of IAM Clusters" in Vinnytsia, Zaporizhia, and Kharkiv clusters, supported by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH, has concluded. Over the course of four days, representatives from these clusters gathered in two locations – Lviv Polytechnic and the Vinnytsia Cluster of Instrumentation and Automation – to learn how to enhance their organizational capacity through internationalization tools, work on creating joint value chains, visit Vinnytsia's industrial instrumentation companies with full production cycles, and engage in a joint strategic session.

full production cycles, and engage in a joint strategic session.

Participants of the project, united by common challenges such as asset loss, market limitations, and workforce issues, sought solutions through collaboration and optimization of cluster management and its participants. One important conclusion drawn during the joint strategizing was that the development of Ukrainian high-tech clusters is hindered by the absence of business models that are suitable for the national business environment.

Representatives from the three clusters have agreed upon the following actions:

  • Creation of a shared competence map and, in the future, a joint product catalog

  • Formation of inter-cluster positioning

  • Signing of memorandums between the clusters

and other necessary actions for strengthening competitiveness and resilience of companies and their clusters.

Most importantly, we have achieved mutual understanding, awareness of the need to act together, and the conveyance of the value of collective actions to the companies in the regions.
