The development of instrument-making and high-tech engineering business in the region took place in a pseudo-market environment and without the participation of beneficiaries - companies in related industries, government and the public. Therefore:

the products of the enterprises of the branch insignificantly satisfy the needs of the regional economy
product diversity is significant, which complicates the establishment of priority areas of development and positioning of the cluster.

We used diversity as a common advantage and singled out the vector of technological innovation - a safe environment that includes:

robotic systems and unmanned systems
automation systems for urban management, including lighting, transport infrastructure, the account of municipal resources, the security alarm system
automation of agricultural production and food industry
water and air quality monitoring systems
