Participation of INNOVINPROM in the final event of BOWI

On June 13, the conference "BOWI Network Ecosystem: Giving Advantage to Interregional Cooperation for SMEs" took place, at which the INNOVINNPROM company, a member of the AIM Cluster (Vinnytsia Automation and Instrument Making Cluster), reported on the work performed in the project, which received funding from the research and innovation program of the European Union Horizon 2020 within the framework of the BOWI project, which is financed under grant agreement No. 873155. The main goal of the event was to create a network of digital innovation hubs aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the implementation of their most innovative projects.

At the conference, INNOVINNPROM representatives Yuriy Skidan and Yana Ilchyk presented the results of cross-border experiments carried out within the framework of the SAKURA-APM grant project.

Thanks to the support of BOWI, its own IT department was created, scientific works were written, which became a significant practical contribution to theses, and work is underway to attract new customers for the implementation of the completed developments.

In cooperation with the scientific group of the Vinnytsia National Technical University, experts of the PIAP digital innovation hubs and the 4.0 DIH Center of KPI, with the support of the AIM cluster and APPAU, the INNOVINNPROM company improved the cloud service, which provides significant savings in grain storage. Energy meters, self-developed measuring transformers, IoT gateways and a cloud platform for data collection were also installed.

INNOVINNPROM collaborated with scientists and experts to assess the viability of applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies to optimize processes and reduce costs. The results showed the achievement of key performance indicators, an increase in overall equipment efficiency to 0.59% and a reduction in equipment inefficiency from 17% to 10%.

SAKURA-APM is a system for managing the efficiency of production assets, based on the technologies of the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0).

Like any classic APM system, the SAKURA-APM system contains two main components:

- Maintenance and Repair;

- Production management systems aimed at operational excellence (Operational Excellence).

After the presentation, INNOVINNPROM representatives held a number of meetings and discussions with potential partners and investors. Many participants expressed interest in cooperation with INNOVINNPROM and the Transilvania IT cluster expressed a desire to cooperate with AIM Cluster.
