The first Ukrainian hackathon on intellectual capital development – 100 IT Hackathon in Vinnytsia

On 13-15 December, Vinnytsia became the epicentre of innovation, where 100 talented teenagers aged 14-17 from 15 regions of Ukraine took part in the First Ukrainian Hackathon for the Development of Intellectual Capital - 100 IT Hackathon.

Participants worked in teams for 48 hours to create prototypes of innovative educational solutions. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, they not only generated ideas but also mastered the technologies of the future, including artificial intelligence.

Vinnytsia Automation and Instrument Making Cluster participated in the 100 IT Hackathon in two roles: as a co-organiser of the event and as a member of the expert commission.

The expert commission evaluated the submitted projects according to the following criteria:

  • innovation,

  • practical implementation,

  • benefit to society,

  • development potential.

All winners received valuable prizes, and the most talented participants received grants of UAH 100,000 for training under the Ukrainian IT Hundred programme.

The winners proposed creative innovative solutions and projects, such as a modern educational platform for additional homework assignments, interactive applications, the ‘21-Day Self-Development Challenge,’ tools for solving employment problems for veterans and people with disabilities, and a platform for rapid communication between students, employers, educational institutions, etc.

Together, we create opportunities for young people. We would like to thank our partners and all the organisers for their support and inspiration!
