On October 27, the final of the #Clusters4Regions cluster project competition took place in Kyiv, initiated by the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance with the support of the Swiss-Ukrainian project #UCORD.

The event brought together representatives from clusters, the business sector, academia, education, and regional development institutions from various regions of Ukraine. Teams presented project initiatives aimed at addressing pressing economic and technological challenges facing the regions.

Our cluster’s "Regional Technological Competencies Matrix" project won in the "Best Cluster Cooperation Project" category!

The project was presented by Yurii Klymenko, Director of the Vinnytsia Automation and Instrument Making Cluster, who emphasized that the project aims to address the shortage of engineering talent and create an effective model of interaction between students, educational institutions, and technology companies. The core principles of collaboration include student teams working on real-world technical tasks from businesses, mentorship from practicing engineers, access to equipment, and other forms of support, including financial assistance.

A key component of the interaction ecosystem is the matrix of technological competencies, in which participants' skills are validated by the knowledge they have acquired and the prototypes they have developed.
